The Beginning of The End (MOD)

Dwebble's claw continued after striking Joker and smashed into the ground. For a second, he stared at it, barely believing that he got a hit just like that. He raised his claw to his tiny face and stared at it. What? How did this happen? In his surprise, he forgot about his opponent and was hit, once again, by Peck. Unfortunately, he had lowered his claw the instant the attack hit, causing it to hit him straight in the face once again. In fear, he rolled up in his tiny shell as he bounced away, wishing that he had never stimulated this battle. Finally, he stopped moving, a few feet away from Joker, inside his shell, trembling, not caring that he was in full vulnerability.

Violet looked down at the Dwebble with sympathy. He tried so hard to be courageous...but he was obviously through with it. Joker stared at him blankly, slightly surprised at what just happened. Joker glanced at Violet, waiting for her to say or do something. Violet suddenly grew nervous. What does she do? Out of her stupidity, she took a pokeball and just dropped it. Joker glared at her and swooped to pick it up. He dropped it back in her hands and told her with his gaze, "Do it again. You look like an idiot..." Violet rolled her eyes and tried to throw it sort of the way she had seen trainers do it. she looked at Dwebble with a weak and awkward smile. "Wanna join the team?" Joker groaned and slapped his small face with his huge cotton-white wing while trying to hover above the ground.

The clumsily thrown Pokeball never actually hit Dwebble but merely bounced a couple of feet away, coming to rest six inches from his claw. The small noise caught Dwebble's attention and he slowly, shakily removed his claw from his face. He looked at the small red and white contraption. He had never seen one of these before. It looked really weird, Dwebble wondered why the human had thrown one at him. It didn't look harmful.

Curiosity took the better of Dwebble and he reached one claw forward and tapped the red part of the machine. Nothing. The white part? Nothing. Finally, he poked at the button, which cause the thing to flash open and reveal a red beam of light that engulfed him and pulled him in. He was so surprised he had no idea what was going on until the darkness hit. He waited, shocked, as seconds passed, and then he felt a strange tiredness come over and the realization that the girl was now his master. He sunk into a deep sleep.

Outside, after Dwebble had been pulled inside the Pokeball, It closed shut and rocked back and forth a bit, the center glowing bright red. After a few rolls, it stopped moving and the red faded away. Dwebble had been caught.

Dwebble is full of valiant energy and will throw himself into battle if his master wishes it. However, he has a very small attention span and may wander his thoughts if given the chance. He's a little clumsy too, but will eventually make a powerful part of any team.

Violet cheered. "Yay! I did it!" Joker looked up as if he was about to counter that but she glared at him dead in the eye. "Shut your beak." Joker took a few shaking steps back, looking away from her deadly glance. Violet immediately adjusted and cheered once again. She gingerly picked up the poke ball that holds the Dwebble. "What should we name you..?" Joker flew in a circle in a pacing manner when he came to a stop. He snatched up what he saw and placed it in front of Violet. "This is just a coin. You want to name him coin?" Joker picked it up again and let the sunshine wash over the dull color to reveal a shiny copper tone. "Ohhh the color! You think we should name him Copper!" Joker nodded and dropped the coin back down. "Hmm...alright! Let's name him Copper! But we should probably stop by the pokemon center and get him energized before we do anything. I think there is a town nearby..." Joker hovered above Violet and looked around. He saw a town not far ahead, and flew above Violet toward the direction. "Waaaait! I can't fly! Let alone run fast!" Violet picked up the pace and tried as hard as she could to keep up with Joker toward their new goal.
