A pale, winter sun rose over the eternally frozen Glacial Peaks. Some say that when the world was created, the people that lived there committed great sin and the legendary Pokemon of ice froze them solid, along with their home. Others say that when winter spread, it blew particularly harsh over the mountains and its surroundings. What was the most accurate was that Kyurem, the deity of ice, really did live there. And that he was the one that created the deadly winter blizzards and storms that raged endlessly around the mountainside. Of course, all legends and folktales. For most people at least.
Jessica stood on the edge of the cliff that held the closest thing to a home. Though it was warmer then other places along the range, the cave she stayed in wasn't very warm, but it was when Red came in. Wherever the great beast went, both Jessica and Flash were warm. Heat came off him in waves, warming the living and melting the snow. However, Jessica needed none of that warmth. She had been reborn in the dark and cold, so that is what she preferred. Of course, that was the most inhuman side of her. Otherwise, she was full human, and she believed it herself. She sometimes sat down after long days and thought about what she was. Was she good? Was she bad? Not that it mattered. If she thought she was good, then she was good. Nothing else mattered.
She knew that Red and Flash were walking up beside her. She did not feel the need to greet them, or even turn her head. They knew that she knew they were there. They just walked up beside her and watched the snow swirl over the mountain. It blew inches in front of their faces, sometimes touching them, but they took no notice. This was how their days usually started.
Finally, Red spoke with the telepathic power he possessed. What is your plan for today, friend? Luxio muttered something in his own language. Flash is wondering if we could stay on the mountains. Jessica nodded, her plan opening again in her head. "Yes, we will be on the mountain today. We will begin something new." And what is that, friend? "Kyurem. We are going to find Kyurem. That is our next goal. Perhaps gain its friendship, perhaps given the privilege to battle it, or maybe just the honor to see it, but we are going to find him."
Flash muttered something else and Entei rumbled his agreement. Jessica's head turned sharply. "What?" He looked up into her pale eyes. Flash thinks that this expedition will take longer then a day to complete. Jessica looked back at the blizzard, as did Red. "Yes, of course it will. But that is what we are doing now."
Without another word, she jumped the cliff, feeling the exhilaration of freefalling. The bottom, she couldn't see, but she just kept falling and falling. Until a warm body wrenched itself comfortably beneath her and another body stationed itself in front of her. Entei let out a wild roar and pushed against the icy wall behind them. They soared through the air until the leap's power failed them and he landed on the peak of an iceberg. Then he leaped again and landed back onto the mountains. He took off at a run towards the peak's top.

A large pokemon lumbered through the mountains, not caring about anything going on around her. She walked in the peaceful silence of the world, and was alone in such a beautiful place. Gazing at the softly falling snow, she continued his morning walk, at peace with her life. No pokemon messed with her, she was much to large, but no one feared her either, she was so calm. She lived in the mountains alone, acting on behalf of nature here. The snow and the trees. She was a sagious Abomasnow. Abomasnow Female Grass whistle/Blizzard/Mist/Wood Hammer NAME is a very calm, sagious pokemon. She never worries, or gets angry. She meerley leaves at peace with her life. Se often avoids conflict, for sh knows she his to strong for her own good, her only damaging attacks being ones that hurt her or make her exhausted. She battles only when nessacary, and loves peace. But her wisdom could not tell her why an Entei, such a powerful pokemon, would come all the way to the mountains.

Red came to a sudden halt right in front of Abomasnow. He looked at her great, burly, white form with narrowed eyes. He was nearly as tall as the massive Pokemon, but he came up short by almost an entire foot. But he knew that he was more powerful and one blast of Flamethrower would easily knock her aside. But he didn't because something about Jessica's suddenly rigid form stopped him. Not really a surprise, not really a rock hard smash to stop him in his tracks, more like a pillow of air had come between him and his plan of action.
Jessica had gone rigid atop of Entei's back at the sight of the Pokemon. Ice and grass, one of the most curious combinations. Symbolizing one of Jessica's favorite sights, a tree covered in snow. More specifically, a pine tree covered in glistening silver white crystals. And there stood the Pokemon that perfectly represented this rare image. She wanted its friendship.
She slipped off Entei's back and touched the ground lightly with her feet. She took a step towards Abomasnow, her hand outstretched. "Hello. We're looking for Kyurem. Can you give us a bit of help?"

Abomasnow bowed her head ever so slightly toward Entei. She did night like his sudden, unreasonable adversity towads her, but none the less, he was a powerful, rare pokemon. He desrved respect even if he was not the kindest pokemon. Anomsnow watched him closley. She was wary of him. His type out matched both of her own, but she wol not fall ifthe time came for battle.
But she turned her head instead to the girl. The girl that had been riding on Entei's back. That was quite a sight. A legend ike Entei, with a human? And one who seemed to be supierior to Entei as well. What other mysteries would she fall upon duing this encounter? Well one was being approached by this girl. Not man had the bravery for that. But the girls question was odd.
Abomasnow didn't quite undersand what the girl was doing with her handso she ignored it, but shook her head at the girls question. It was diffucut to find such a rare pokemon, and the journey long. And the geat pokemon was constantly moving.
She looked into the girl eyes with an unspoken look of disapproval. It was a quest to no where. But Abomasnow still motiond to the ground infront of her, then upward, and her herself. She knew her way to the mountains peaks. And even if the chance ofseeng Kyruem was none, she would take the travelers ther if they wanted.

Jessica dropped her hand, satisfied with the results of her question. Flash growled behind her, dropping into a defensive position. He didn't trust this Pokemon with a single molecule in his body. He wished that Entei would sweep up his mane, roar his magnificent roar, and burn that Pokemon where she stood. But he didn't. Flash would have been perfectly content with attacking the Pokemon himself, but electric type moves didn't effect grass type moves very much. So he stood his ground and waited for Jessica to react.
Red, on the other hand, was very happy that he never attacked. Jessica seemed to like this Pokemon. He could tell by the way she talked and moved. He liked this Pokemon as well. She was courteous and bowed when she saw him. He usually found this unnecessary, but felt the need to always bow back. So he lowered his head in respect, showing her that he meant no harm and that no harm would be inflicted. He glanced over at Flash, who seemed to burst with aggressive energy. He growled in his direction, giving him a hard, warning stare and motioned towards Jessica. The Luxio immediately dropped his position and slithered forward to stand next to Entei, the great beast towering three times his size. So it was more like standing in his massive shadow.
Jessica watched the Abomasnow motion to the ground, to the peak and then to herself. Her intelligent mind unraveled in quickly and put it into words. I will take you there. She pictured, once again, a pine tree covered with layers of snow. Almost sighing out loud, the beautiful image implanted itself in her brain and she became almost sure that it was a real tree somewhere. But it couldn't be. It was alone, the only tree for miles upon miles. This made her sad, so she averted her attention back to the Pokemon. "Thank you, we really appreciate it."
She turned back to Red and instinctively touched his soft fur. She heard his voice murmur in her ear. She does not like me and she is not too fond of your questions. Flash can sense it too. Be careful. He knew that the other Pokemon couldn't hear him. If he wanted only one to hear, only one would hear. That was the magic of telepathy. He jerked his head towards Abomasnow and spoke up in the language of Pokemon. He didn't want to intimidate her by using English. He let out a few low growls.
<Thank you, friend.>

Abomasnow was not used to trained pokemon. So quick to adversity. Or that may just as well be any pokemon that was not from these parts. She did know ths area was of great peace among pokemon. The only truly agressive one was kyruem, and that's only when someone intentionaly angered him. But she decided to lead the trio up the mountain. She did apperciate the thank you, but didn't really mind much. The hike up would be long. And would probably lead encounters of other pokemon. She thought of this just as a glaceon cam around the corner up ahead, after visiting the peaks. Abomasnow reconized the odd trot of an Eevee that had passsed by a week ago. She knew the ice ontop of the peaks acted as an aid to evolution. And though there was a glaceon standing there, it was still the young Eevee who was unfamiliar with the land, and probably realizing a large fire pokemon was standing in his way off the mountain. He froze, and then lowered to an attaking position. Amy local pokemon would have reconized Abomasnow. But not this visitor. The glaceon picked out Luxio. More his size, and darted fore ward with Ice Fang. Glaceon Male Helping hand/Icy Wind/ Ice Fang

Flash didn't drop his defensive position, but relaxed just the slightest when he heard Jessica's words. He could almost see the trust radiating out of her and her immediate affection for this Pokemon. He couldn't see why this was, however, and, sadly, didn't share the same feelings. He was still struggling with his trust in this wild Abomasnow, no where near thinking about what a great friend she'll make. A female friend. Well, if that was one of Jessica's reasons for liking this Pokemon, it disgusted him. And insulted him, as if suggesting that he and Red weren't good enough because of gender preference. But that was wiped from his mind when he saw the Glaceon. Nothing says a perfect, beautiful Pokemon then a fox. But then, from the newcomer's smell, that this was a male. Huh, how ironic.
He didn't have much time to think before Glaceon was upon him. He knew he was going to be hit, so he swung his tail around, no time for dodging, and felt ice cold teeth sink into the yellow, four star-shape on the end. He gritted his teeth, but managed to keep his head clear. He yelped as the pain registered and, in retaliation, sent a jolt of electricity through his body.
Jessica whipped around at the sound of Flash's screech. She hadn't really noticed the Glaceon until it was attacking her friend. She saw a thin, shaky line of electricity form around Flash's body and relaxed when she realized that this was his stationary Thunderbolt, something he'd been working on with Red for a while. Thinking of Red, she turned around to see him looking with a blank expression over at the battling Pokemon. "You knew Glaceon was there?" His eyes twitched so they were staring at Jessica. Of course I did. But it would be an unfair advantage if I stepped in, wouldn't it? Both Pokemon would be unhappy. Jessica nodded. "I would say the same." She looked back over at Flash, not showing any sign that she would help.
Red, however, was rigid against the strain of not leaping into battle. Of not letting out a great roar and throwing a flame straight at the wild Pokemon. But he had to show restraint. He was too powerful and may actually do more then knock out Glaceon, especially with the type advantage. The most he did in battles like this was use Flash to give them the upper hand, but that would always piss of Flash himself as he always complained that he never got a battle to himself. So, to stop the urge to fight, like always, he buckled over his legs and pushed his butt to the ground so he was now sitting like a dog. It made him feel vulnerable and trained and very embarrassed, but it was too risky to not do this.

((Ooc: Apologies again, i covered a bunch of shifts, and i replied to this thread again but it didn't show up, again. Crossing my fingers hoping this one does. I'm also rather angry they are not showing up so if its short thats cause im getting tired of retyping this.))
Glaceon was not ready for the pulse of electicity that vibrated through out his body. basically, it was quite a "shock" to him. Glaceon retaliated by using icy wind. He was under attack, he had to do something. He took a breath an relasecd it with highwinds whipping by, harming al of them except the ice types.
Abomasnow threw a quick glance, looking to see if her companions were alright.

Flash was relieved when the Glaceon's ice-cold teeth unlatched themselves from his tail. But he had to move quickly. Even if that Glaceon wasn't fast, which he was certain she was, she would strike quickly, for sure. So he shot forward as soon as he felt the pressure vanish. He could feel the cold breath of Icy Winds, then felt the full blast of it fall across him. But he kept moving, just as he had been taught to do in cold areas. If he kept moving, he'd keep his blood pumping and it would keep him warm, well, warm enough not to freeze. He took some damage, for sure, but it wasn't enough to knock him down. He switched directions and turned in a circle, going back to Glaceon. As fast as a strike of lightning, he lunged forward, teeth sparking with energy, and snapped at Glaceon.
Jessica and Red were still standing there, still with no intentions to join Flash in his battle, however much energy was bursting from Red's limbs. When the Icy Wind blew over, Red jumped in front of Jessica and shielded her from the cold winds. He barely felt anything, but he could feel Jessica shiver slightly as she felt the temperature drop. However cold her death was, she was still human and she could still be cold. His internal flame still burned with energy and his thick, warm fur kept all cold from his body. With a great effort, he stopped, instinctively, from letting lose a Flash attack. He'd never let anything hurt Jessica, he'd sworn to himself that she was his companion, breaking all the rules of the legendaries. Well, what was once the legends. Friendships with humans were never seen in them in the old days, but things were different now.
Jessica couldn't help it. She dropped behind Red as he leaped forward and pressed against his warm body. However much she felt uncomfortable in the warm, she was still cold and it was still sharp in her mind. The wind combined with the attack created a cold worse than the frozen lake she had died in, and that's when she became cold. But when it was over, she stood up straight and walked back in front of Red to watch the battle continue.

Glaceon watched his icy storm take affect on all three of his enimies. He noticed however, Abomasnow was not doing anything. He had heard on his journey up here that she was one of the oldest, wisest, and most powerful pokemon that lived here. Yet she was doing nothing?
Angered and not understanding the sensitive balance that would be offset by triggering an attack from Red, Glaceon went up behind Abomasnow and bit her foot. Just then he felt the electrical fangs sink into his body, and he once more retaliated with an ice fang.
Meanwhile, his plan to push Abomasnow into action had worked. She went to hit the small, stubborn pokemon with wood hammer, and was whipped around by the struggle of the two pokemon at her feet. Her wood hammer was then on course to hit Red.

Once again, Flash had to quickly let go of his enemy and jump away before the ice fangs hit. But he forgot, of course. And this time, the sharp teeth sunk right into his nose. He yelped out in pain and recoiled immediately, tearing himself away, painfully. He stood on the cold ground, trying to rub some warmth and feeling back into his nose. He barely noticed what was happening with Red, Jessica, and the two other Pokemon, neither did he care. Was he freezing? Was this battle going to end with him as a frozen ice sculpture? He shook these thoughts from his mind and looked up, ready to continue fighting. And then he saw what was happening.
Red was still watching patiently from where he was sitting. The battle continued. That flame of battle was dying in him as he watched Flash jump right back in and attack Glaceon once again. But he was no longer paying attention to his own friend. The little ice fox was behaving very strange, nipping at, not Flash, but Abomasnow. Then the plan wormed itself into Red's mind. He let out a tremendous roar as the Wood Hammer soared down at him. Time froze as he formulated his next move in his head. If he let out his own attack now, their help would be gone and Jessica might be burned from the brutal flames that would erupt inside him. If he jumped away, Jessica would surely fall off the mountain from the force. There was only one thing left to do.
Red turned to face the Wood Hammer, which was inches away from him. He readied himself, feeling that throbbing sense of battle trying to escape his seal. And when the attack hit, he not only held against it, but thrust himself into it.
His head began to spin the instant the attack hit. He let out another roar as he tried to shove off Abomasnow with his strength. He wanted, oh he so wanted, to just let lose a Flamethrower in his attacker's face, but he held himself together and continued his battle with the other Pokemon.
Meanwhile, Flash decided to take advantage of this commotion and turned back towards Glaceon. Gathering all his energy, he let all the electricity in his body float towards his fur. He could feel the sparks beginning to snap at him. Seconds later, he was engulfed in the energy and a bolt of lightning was shooting straight from him to his opponent.

Abomasnow felt the woodhammer come down hard on Red. She knew as a grass/ice type against a fire type wouldn't do much damage, but she was an extremely strong pokemon, and was sure her strength alone assisted in creating extra damage. But she was glad to see Red not retaliating, or looking for a fight. But she knew she was still in danger if another incident like that occurred. She'd have to watch herself, and these two racing around and fighting.
Glaceon was now jumping and skittering around, realizing a thunderbolt was on its way. He knew he had t avoid, but it came quicker then he expected. It hit him, only slightly, but enough to really pain him, and throw him backwards. He stood, shaking, feeling the sparks run through his fur. He was becoming paralyzed... but no. He could make one more attack.
He felt the wind around him whip up and freeze. Ice crystals formed flew in from all directions while the wind roared. Glaceon then froze from paralysis, and felt his own attack slightly pain him, since he was so stiff, unable to let the ice pass by him.
