Personality: Jessica is dead serious. Nothing else. She has a very closed in, slightly dark personality. But she's very outgoing and likes to express her feelings. Not that she's really depressed. She just can't help but blurt out every word she wants to say. She's got a wide-set mind, intelligent, and fast working. You want to be her friend. Then you get help on all your algebra homework. No, seriously. She likes making trouble. And the thing is...she never gets caught. She's a very clever person.
The one time Jessica had actually been to a city, she hated it. She's the outdoor sort of person and she can't stand smoke, artificial lighting, or anything that looks man made. She likes the roughly carved mountains, the imperfect fields, and the pure light of the moon and stars. She sleeps very little, due to stargazing and constant prayers to her ancestors. Her biggest weakness is sort of a stupid one though. And that's being near civilization.
History: Jessica is not from Aero. No, she's zero percent Aero. But she grew up there. Her mother lived with a tribe of natives and wild Pokemon in another country. The tribe was structured like this. There was a leader that had control over a Ho-oh and passed that power down to the next leader and the next leader. All the other members of the tribe had one fire type partner that followed them everywhere. By the time her mother was born, they were beginning to lose some of their traditions. When Jessica herself was born, the Ho-oh was gone and the leaderless tribe was ready to move on. They found Aero and settled into the Silverwood Forest where they learned to adapt to the cold.
Jessica herself wandered the forest alone, wide eyed with the nature around her. It was in her blood to explore and go on adventures. And her mother was not only fine with it, but very very happy about it. When she was five, she ventured out of the woods and into Glitz City. Which disgusted her. When she was seven, she ventured towards Windswept plains and met a friendly Shinx of whom she had a fun adventure with then said goodbye. When she was ten, she climbed to the peak of the Glacial Mountains. When she was fifteen, she dared to go to the Frozen Coast. And she dared to walk on the ice, the one thing she was told absolutely not to do.
She wasn't a very good swimmer, and the weight of the water and ice was crushing down on her. She had given up on hope of ever finding her way home. She tried to think of any way out, but she found none. She was devastated, because she knew her mother would grieve forever. Just before her eyes closed she heard a thudding on the ice above her and a streak of red glowed through the thick ice. And the last thing she heard before a crushing blackness reigned was a singing-like voice whispering that her time was destined to be reset. And the last thing Jessica saw in her first life was the face of a man, strong, and beautiful, his hair burning with flames, reaching for her.
She woke up, chocking on cold sea water, with a great beastly Pokemon standing over her. She felt different, in a way. Physical and mental. Ignoring the Pokemon above her, she stood up and turned back towards the small pool she had came from. The reflection that stared back at her was, to her utmost horror, not hers. Her blonde hair was now a dark red-brown color, her eyes had changed from dark green to bright hazel. Her face was longer, older. She looked at her hands. The nails where more square then her previous rounded ones. The fingers themselves were longer. It was like someone had taken her body and shaped it to their desire.
That was when she noticed the great beast behind her. There was a slight growl coming from it. When she turned around, she saw what it was. Entei, glaring at her, waiting for her to step forward and thank it for saving her. So she did that, kneeling in front of it. When she did show this respect he huffed in a satisfied manor. Jessica, who wasn't done with surprises, launched herself at him and threw her arms around his neck. He made a surprised noise, not angry, but more happy that she didn't stay on the ground in front of him. The two of them stayed together after that.
Jessica decided that if she turned up at the tribe with the face of her second life and an Entei behind her, they would possibly attack. So she stayed content with traveling the unexplored with her Pokemon friend at her side. He had allowed her to name him so she brought up a native tongue her mother had once taught her. The English translation came to Red Fire that Burns the Sky. So she was content on calling him Red. She met up with the old Shinx she had once played with, now a Luxray with a small family of two Shinx and one Luxio. The Luxio joined them and Jessica name him Flash that Lights the Storm. Together, the three of them are determined to explore the unkown and map the uncharted. Become the greatest team of explorers known to man. Or Pokemon.
