Victoria decide to let out Sandshrew to greet him into the team. Victoria told Chimpchar to stand back. Chimpchar climb up to Victoria's sholder and nodded. Victoria tossed shandshrew pokeball when the pokeball was in the air it opened creating a red flash shapeing Sandshrew. Then standing there was Sandshrew with his arm crossed and a grunt. Victoria said "Welcome to my team" with a smile. Sandshrew growled moving back a few steps. Chimpchar climbed down from Victoria's sholder and smiled at Sandshrew moving closer to Sandshrew.Sandshrew looked at Chimpchar disgusted by her smile. While Sandshrew was moving away from Chimpchar tripped on a tree root. Chimpchar started to laughed, Sandshrew growled getting up up than started to run towards Chimpchar. Chimpchar stopped laughing as soon as she saw Sandshrew running torwards her Chimpchar ran into Victoria's arm. Sandshrew stopped at Victoria's feet that sat down and frooze Victoria looked concerned putting Chimpchar down by her side. Victoria neeled and slowly moving her hand to touch his head going to say it was okay.

Coming out of the gym a little way from where Victoria stood, was a young boy, who was crying over a lost gym battle. It had been really close. He had defeated the Mincinno and had sent out his second Pokemon, he had forgotten about a major weakness. In just one hit, Cody's Zangoose had knocked out his partner from the beginning. Well, no one would defeat him any more! He was a winner! Then he saw Victoria and her two Pokemon. He smiled. This trainer looked like she had just come off Route 1. So, maybe he should challenge her to a battle. She looked weak enough with that weak looking Chimchar and the disobedient Sandshrew. He grabbed his first Pokeball and ran up to the girl. "You're battling me! Right now! Nothing you can do!" And he tossed the Pokeball in the air. Out came an Eevee. "You can have the first move." You have been challenged! |

Victoria was forced to go into this battle Victoria quickly said okay she didnt want the kid to be disappointed again. She looked at Sandshrew and said "It's your time to show me what you got". Sandshrew nodded and looked at Eevee, Victoria said to "Use Sand-Attack" Sandshrew spinned swiping sand into Eevee's eye's.

Eevee stumbled back, yowling in surprise. Sand was streaming through her eyes, burning her. When she opened them, everything was a little fuzzy and hazy. She was a bit disoriented, but quickly regained her feet. She'd just have to battle like this, but she doubted the fact that she would be able to score every hit. Her master called out for her to use Tail Whip.
She began wagging her tail bag and forth, then ran up to Sandshrew, turning herself right in front of him, harmlessly running her tail around his body to lower his Defense. She jumped back to her place and waited for Sandshrew to make his move.

Sandshrew moved back alittle but had no expression of pain when Eevee hit him, he smiled and looked at Victoria. Victoria said "Use dig" Sandshrew did what he was told and started to dig untill he stopped and waited.

Eevee, ecstatic, jumped at Sandshrew without waiting for her master's command. He disappeared before she could land a hit. She looked back at her master, waiting for him to say something, but his face was in his hands. Well, looks like she'd have to do this battle alone. She jumped back in place and readied herself for Sandshrew's attack, seeing as she couldn't do anything at the moment.

Sandshrew dug hard and fast untill he had to stop that ment he was going to far for his jumping range. Sandshrew took a deep breath thinking to himself i am strong i can do this He put his legs in possition bursting out of the hole with confidence.

Eevee yelped as Sandshrew came in from beneath her. She was thrown into the air and landed, with a great huff, on the ground. She opened her eyes, the world still fuzzy and slowly got up. The Dig attack had taken away a lot of damage and she was unsure if she could continue if she was hit like that again. She was shaking all over, with weakness, pain, rage, and sorrow. She was letting down her trainer yet again. No, she couldn't do that. So she jumped back up, her feet spread apart to keep her balanced and snarled at the Pokemon. On her trainer's command, she leaped forward, putting her head down, getting ready to Tackle Sandshrew.

Sandshrew eyes widend i can't belive it, Eevee is still battleing. Sandshrew smiled because he knew when its his turn Eevee is going down. While he thought about it he didnt notice Eevee running until Victoria said "Sandshrew look out!". Sandshrew was on the ground he snarled and trying to push Eevee off.

Eevee flopped back onto the ground. She hadn't taken damage from her own move, of course, but she was still weak from the dreadful blow Sandshrew had landed on her earlier. She got up slowly, glaring with deep eyes. Anger was consuming her now. Without her trainer saying a thing, she launched herself, once again, with a head on Tackle attack.

Sandshrew saw what Eevee was doing, when Eevee was close enough he used scratch without Victoria's permission.

Eevee kept going, her feet flying across the ground. She watched as Sandshrew's claw came closer and closer to her face. At just the right moment, she leaped into the air, determined to find a way to knock him back. Then she heard her trainer's voice in her ear. "Slip over his claw!" She had once practiced with him and it had turned out not to bad. It would definitely give her an advantage in this case. So, she twisted her body, putting one paw out, and slipped her paw right onto his claw. Things began to run in slow motion. She twisted back around and pushed down with her paw, leaping at Sandshrew and trying to drive him to the ground with her Tackle attack.

Sandshrew looked back at Victoria when all the sudden he was on the ground again. Victoria said "Scratch Sandshrew get Eevee off" Sandshrew used scratch.

OOC: Sandshrew has been attacked and hit numerous times, he should be almost fainted by now.
Sandshrew's claws scourged Eevee's side and she whimpered in pain. She slipped right off of Sandshrew, sliding to the ground, her legs too tired to hold her. She closed her eyes and fainted. Her trainer, devastated recalled her to her Pokeball and took out another. He believed in this Pokemon. Throwing it in the air with more confidence, he cried, "Duskull! Time to shine!" A small black Pokemon with a single red eyes, but two eye sockets appeared. He stood very still, politely waiting for Sandshrew to attack.
