"Cassie... Wait!" Cattus was chasing his purrloin down the dock, with liam clutching Cattus's his head as he ran. See, Cattus was fearful of most pokemon. He was looking through a book of pokemon recentley, and found one that wasn't too scary. It was a Milotic. A very beautiful and grae full pokemon. Apparently they were hard to find. But Feebas, which evolves into Milotic, weren't as rare. Plus little Liam needed some practice in a battle. So why not look for a feebas?
But Cassie was excited about this step up for Cattus. He was always shy, but now he was out looking for a pokemon! How wonderful!. She ran all the way to the docks edge, and waited for Cattus. Her arrived, panting, completley out of breath. He looked atcassie who blinked inocently, and then he pulled out her pokeball. he needed to focus. But Liam stayed out.
"Get ready to see your first fish.... it'll be mine, too." Poor catus never saw any water pokemon. So he pulled the crudy rod he found, and cast it out into the waters, and ploped his little but down on the dock. He soon realized this would take longer than he thought. Liam curled up on his lap, and Cattus sighed. "Come on, Shiny Feebas."

In the murky depths of Cryse Cove, a plethora of water Pokemon thrived. A few fish swam by, almost unaware of the hook that Cattus had cast into the water. It was a while before a medium-sized Carvannah decided to try its luck on the fishing rod. Besides, only the lowliest of trainers used THAT kind of rod. It would be a nice diversion from the boring life of swimming around and waiting to die.
He willed up his courage, swam upwards a bit, and bit down on the hook as hard as he possibly could.

Cattus was vecoming seeply under the warm sun, and Liam's tiny body like a personal heater. He was blinking in and out, so comfortable in the summer air. Its the first time he felt at peace since he left home. He simled to himself, and drifted into light dreams.
He expected himself to dream of his brothers. Thats why when he saw the really handsome boy in his dream he thought he was in the mind of Elliot. But as he talked to the boy who was Cattus' age, he realized he was himself, but kept talking to the boy. An oppisite of Cattus. Very brave, loving all pokemon, but not a fan of cat pokemon, just the Big tough pokemon. he Tugged on Cattus to show him a mysterious pokemon. He tugged again. The there was a very loud and very confused "Meow? Meowth!"
<What? Cattus!> Liam was trying to wake Cattus as the Rod began to be ripped from his grip. He heard the mewling of his Meowth, and paniced at the shaking poll. But he knew not what to do. He tried reeling in, but his small handds couldnt quite do the job. So he began tugging. very weakly. Then liam, rolling his eyes, yanked on the line hard with his teeth.
Cattus screamed. A thought he saw a very ugly fish on the line.

Carvannah held on fast as he was ripped through the water by some unseen force. He flew threw the air, spinning, again, and again. Finally, he landed with a thud on the wooden pier, flopping around for a while before composing himself for battle. He bared his fangs, and growled menacingly. Maybe this would be a good battle. Without another sound, he leapt forward and tackled at Meowth, unleashing his rage. You have been attacked! Carvannah The Savage Pokemon They swarm any foe that invades their territory. Their sharp fangs can tear out boat hulls.

Cattus weakly ducked out of the way, yelling. Liam bravley took the hit, and shook his fur out. He hissed feircley, and it turned into a high pitched cat-growl, using his first attack. Growl. He then watched the Carvahna keenly, waiting for a counter attack. He never battled before. And Cattus hadn't either.
And poor Cattus was just recovering. He finnal sat up enough to watch baby Liam attack. He wished he could bemore like his pokemon, he thought, so very dazed. He realized the way to start was intruct them. So he stood, wobbily, and waited for their next turn.

With his first hit landed, Carvannah grew cocky. This would be even easier than he had imagined. Clearly the trainer and his Pokemon had no experience battling wild Pokemon. Growl made him lose his focus, as he looked around for the source of the sound. His demeanor softened. Calmness washed over him.
At any rate, it was time to bring the pain to Meowth. Baring his fangs, he surged forward, meaning to land a vicious bite on the cat.

Liam was waiting for Carnavah's next move, his fur standing up u on his back, his tail all fluffed up. He was staring Keenley at his oppenet. Liam was ready for anything, but he still took some time to revel in growl taking affect. And then bite was on its way...
"Liam, dodge!"
Liam jumped at the shout from Cattus, suprised at him speaking up, and not because he was told to dodge. He hadn't notice Cattus rising up behind him, and deciding to take charge. But he smiled at his trainer, then poised to attack, waiting for the comand.
Cattus, surpprised at himself, but also excited that Liam dodged sucsessfully, was ready to be a trainer. And he was very nervous about it too.
"Uhh... Scratch?"
Liam took action imediatley, jumping foreward, his claws outstreched.

Carvannah, not at all discouraged at the fact that his attack had utterly missed its target, composed himself for another act of aggression. This had to wait, however, as he felt Meowth's well-sharpened claws rake his side, drawing blood. Pain, yet, did not come in the magnitude he had expected it to. His hide, rough and unforgiving, also acted as armor. Now, seething from his recent injury, Carvannah began to literally glow red, converting pain into pure power, and unleashed its rage unto Liam.
