A thick fog had settled its self over the peaceful toen. the night was thick with it, the moon, already dull, was very faint, and the air was heavy with gloom. Not a soul was about the town, not in its heart, not near its markets, no where. Everyone was sleeping, or annoyed the night was ruined with the dreaded fog. But even if anyone was out, they still wouldn't have noticed the thin figure kneeling on the roof of an abandoned building, just on the edge of town.
The figure had its wing resting on its back, not tucked in, but up a bit, putting even more of a shadow on its self. It was an eeire sight, ominous in every way. was starung at te fog she had developed. No one would ever see them coming. She smirked. It would be great. She had readied her slef for this momment.
Her cloak's pockets were full of various bombs, and zipped tight so none would fal out. Her Hat was pulled firmley onto her head, her feather-hair laying gently over eye, which was its dull red-brown color. The other glared of the town, and up at the sky. Rod was ready for the attack. But she needed Kathrine at her side.

A Pidgeot glared down from her own perch atop a larger building in the middle of town. Katherine looked down at everything and tried to figure out how to attack the town. She suddenly realized how strange it would be if a Pidgeot was staring down at a town in the middle of night, acting more like a human than a bird. She scowled and, hating her for picking the spot, began to groom her ruffled wings.
She spotted Rod in the piddle of pecking at a particularly naughty feather on her left wing. She finished up, letting the one wing as it was and launched herself into the air, going a different direction of where Rod sat. As she left the eyesight of any wandering eyes, she turned sharply and flew as fast as she could until she found the ruins. She came up behind and launched up above the building. Just as her talons were about to hit the roof, they morphed into regular human feet with boots. Her wings came back and turned into arms while the flowing crest on her head flowed into hair. Katherine landed in human form. "So. What's the plan, Rod?"

Rod waited, her mind going, moving, plotting on the spot, her plans suddenly reforming, deforming, and morphing. She kept Kat waiting a bit, and spoke.
"I'd like to roof hop. That way, we can stay in the thickest part of the fog without being on the ground. We can use our wings to glide from roof to roof, so we make no sound. Duking in one window and out another."
She looked at the town. It was huge, and its center was packed together, a stronghold. It would be best if they went around the edges of the town, progressing inward. Thats what they would have to do. No doubt about it. She relayed this to Kat.
"We have to work from the edges in ward, around and in, a sprial almost."
She looked up at Rod. She stood lightly. She was ready to start this. She took light steps and stepped off the building with wings out, so she wouldnt make a noisy down ward thrust. She stayed low, circling. Is she were to try and hover, shed have to thrust down. So she continued to fly in her small circles, waiting for kat.

Kat nodded, envisioning herself sinking her talons and cutlass into human flesh. She smirked in delight. Spreading her arms wide, she jumped off the building and turned back into a Pidgeot. When she was at Rod's level, she thrust her wings and sped off into the city skies, laughing silently in delight. Ever since she had fallen in love with James, she had not been able to fight very much without James guessing her betrayal. Now she felt the wind flying past her feathers and the anticipation off flying into battle once again. Flying into a sneak attack, the funnest kind. She stopped in top of another building and waited for Rod, making herself look like an ordinary Pidgeot once again, in the case of wandering eyes.
