Some people that haven't seen the anime may not understand it at first, but this site is leaning more towards the anime rather then the games, and this is not to say that neither Eclipse nor I like the anime, but we like the way it's set up.
So, basically, all moves have the same accuracy. If you use Guillotine, it has the same accuracy rate as Aerial Ace and if you use Aerial Ace, it will hit as many times as Zap Cannon may. Everything has 100 accuracy (not 100 percent) unless you use Lock On or Mind Reader.
In addition, moves' power are modified so that Bullet Seed could be as powerful as Flash Cannon, as it just depends on the Pokemon using it along with attack used. The only exception is the elemental hyper beams (hyper beam, giga impact, blast burn, hydro cannon, frenzy plant, and rock wrecker) will be more powerful because they need a turn to recharge. Also, STAB (Same-Type-Attack-Bonus, which is if the Pokemon is of the same type of the move it's using, the move will have 1.5X the power) works, so keep that in mind when attacking.
Pokemon may dodge and they can make their moves stylish or fancy because they have the ability to participate in conests in selected towns and cities. Also, there are no longer TMs or HMs and HM moves cannot be used outside of battles. PP, attack, and defense also don't come into play. Your Pokemon could use a move as many times as it wants. For example, if you have a Raichu facing a Pikachu, and that Pikachu uses a physical attack, that Raichu could brace itself and maybe not take much damage if its a weak attack. Notice that spamming this is a violation of the rules.
Another thing possible here that's not possible in the games is that Pokemon may use their special features (ex. Drapion's tail, Absol's crest, Garchomp's wings) to help them battle. For example, if you have an Absol battling a Tepig, if Tepig uses ember, Absol could use his crest to protect itself. Of course, you can't use a Pokemon's features for every move, as it wouldn't be fair. One more thing you could use, if that Pokemon is big and has big enough wings, it could fly you around. Kind of. The Aero region is kind of far apart, so your Pokemon could get tired easily.
So, yeah, that's pretty much it.
